Heny Tavares wins the 1st Miss Mundo Guine-Bissau 2013
The very first edition of Miss Mundo Guine-Bissau 2013 (Miss World Guinea Bissau) took place at the Azalai 24 de Setembro Hotel in Bissau on July 26. Emerged as the titleholder was the 21 year old Heny Lidia Tavares from Bafata.
Finished as the 1st run-up was Jaquilina de Sousa, while the 2nd run-up was Tatiana Djau.
Heny will now get ready to travel to Indonesia and represent her Portuguese speaking African nation, Guinea-Bissau in the upcoming Miss World 2013 finals to take place at the Sentul International Convention Center in Sentul, Bogor, West Java and in Nusa Dua Complex in Bali on September 28.
