The 2012 Binibining Pilipinas 2012 coronation night will be held on April 15.

Watch as the candidates preparation for the big event. A special presentation documented where the delegates undergone a series of intensive training in personality development, hair and make-up, pasarela, and television projection from experts and former and reigning queens.

Also, the national costume will be presented during this event.

Jenna Talackova was reinstated to join Miss Universe Canada 2012

A 1st in the history pageantry, the Miss Universe Organization, based in New York City released the following official statement regarding Jenna Talackova’s participation in the preliminary Canadian edition:

NEW YORK, APRIL 2, 2012: The Miss Universe Organization will allow Jenna Talackova to compete in the 2012 Miss Universe Canada pageant provided she meets the legal gender recognition requirements of Canada, and the standards established by other international competitions.

The press release, provided by MUO President Paula Shugart and Public Relations director Brenda Mendoza was published at the Beauties of Canada website, organizers of Miss Universe Canada.

Jenna had been banned from the pageant weeks ago due to not complying with a rule set by Miss Universe which stated that only natural born females participated in the contest.

Miss Mundo Brasil 2012 is Mariana Notarangelo

22 year old Miss Rio de Janeiro, Mariana Notarangelo da Fonseca was just crowned last April 2 as the new Miss World Brazil 2012 / Miss Mundo Brasil 2012 held at the TV Pampa studios in Porto Alegre.

Mariana is from Duque de Caxias and stands 175cm tall. She is currently a student of Medicine. Her international pageant titles are International Queen of Coffee 2010 and Miss Global Beauty Queen 2011.

Notarangelo will now represent Brazil in Miss World 2012 contest in Ordos, Inner Monogolia in China on August 18.

Almost 70 gorgeous Brazilian women are invited to rejoin in the initial elimination, all of them are previous contestants of Miss Mundo Brasil. A group of 10 Finalists were chosen. But only 6 candidates reached the grand finals.

The 1st run-up was Camila Serakides, while the 2nd run-up was Karine Barros.

Completing the top 6 finalists were Andressa Mello, Larissa Costa and Mariane Silvestre.

Miss Universe Hrvatske 2012 is Elizabeta Burg

18 year old Elizabeta Burg from Vrbanja was recently crowned Miss Universe Croatia 2012 / Miss Croatia Hrvatske 2012 held at the Crystal Ballroom of the Westin Hotel in Zagreb last April 1.

Elizabeta is a student of veterinary medicine. She will enter representing her country in Miss Universe 2012 contest on December.

The 1st run-up was Monika Mrvelj, and the 2nd run-up was Dorotea Zoric.

Model Ayako Hara was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2012

24 year old Ayako Hara from Sendai won the title of Miss Universe Japan 2012 held last April 1.

Sora Yoshimura was the 1st run-up and Yukimi Matsui was the 2nd run-up.

Ayako stands 170cm tall and works as a model. She will compete in Miss Universe 2012 competition on December.

The Miss Universe Japan 2012 will be held on April 1, where the winner will represent the country in Miss Universe 2012 pageant to be held later this December.

* Ayako Hara wins Miss Universe Japan 2012

Karina Zhironkyna wins Miss Ukraine 2012 (Мисс Украина)

A former Miss Fashion TV 2007 winner, Karina Zhironkyna was recently crowned Miss Ukraine 2012 / Мисс Украина 2012 during the 20th anniversary of the ceremony held at the Kiev National Opera Theatre last March 30.

Karina is from Kharkiv, she's 21 years of age and stands 177cm tall. She will compete in Miss World 2012 contest to be held on August 18 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia in China.

The 1st run-up was Olga Rubanova from Odessa. 2nd run-up was Margarita Ivaschenko from Sevastopol. And Natalia Dunich from Lvov was named the 3rd run-up.

Ceska Miss 2012 Crowning Video:

Tereza Chlebovska was voted Ceska Miss 2012

21 year old Tereza Chlebovska was declared as the new Ceska Miss 2012 / Miss Czech Republic 2012 voted by local TV audience thru SMS during the conclusion of the event held at the Karlin Musical Theatre last March 31.

Standing 173cm tall, Tereza will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2012 competition later this December.


Picked by the panel of judges as Ceska Miss World 2012, the stunning Linda Bartosova will enter the Miss World 2012 contest to be held on August 18 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia in China. Linda is 18 years old and stands 171 cm tall.


Voted by visitors online of Blesk.cz as the new Ceska Miss Earth 2012 was the gorgeous 22 year old Tereza Fajksova. She will enter the Miss Earth 2012 on October.

The Ceska Miss contest first started in 2005. This year in it's 8th edition, 14 beautiful women competed for the crown.
