Miss Russia 2012 Candidates (Batch 1)

Since April 2011, preliminary competitions have been held across Russia with the participation of more than 30,000 delegates. At the end of January 2012, 50 finalists have been chosen. The winner will receive the price of 100,000 dollars and a magnificent crown, the most expensive pageant crown in the world today.

The grand finale of Miss Russia 2011 contest will be held on March 3 in Moscow. The reigning Miss Russia 2011, Natalia Gantimurova (photo above) will take her final walk and crown her successor at the end of the event.

New winner will represent Russia in Miss World 2012 to be held in in Ordos, China on August and in Miss Universe 2012 competition later this year.

Venezuela wins Miss Atlantico Internacional 2012

Miss Venezuela, Catherine Juliana de Zorzi Landaeta was crowned Miss Atlantico Internacional 2012 also known as Miss Atlantic International 2012

pageant held last February 11 in Mantra Resort Spa & Casino in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

17 year old Catherine De Zorzi stands 1.82m tall.

The 1st run-up was Miss South Africa, Sheree-Lee Gildenhuys. And the 2nd run-up was Miss Spain, Ana Isabel Jimenez.

Sally Aponte is Miss Supranational Dominican Republic 2012

19 year old Sally Aponte was crowned as the new Miss Supranational Dominican Republic 2012. She will be the entry of the Caribbean country at Miss Supranational 2012 pageant on October.

Sally Aponte was 2nd run-up in Miss World Dominican Republic 2011, from Salcedo and stands 1.76m tall. She is an environment advocate, and has been involved in a series of environment protection projects.

Line Knapp Christiansen wins Miss International Denmark

17 year old Line Knapp Christiansen won the coveted crown and the title of Miss International Denmark 2012 during an exclusive event held in Copenhagen.

Line Knapp Christiansen is a model. She will be the official representative of Denmark in Miss International 2012.

Miss Lietuva 2012 Contestants

Miss Lithuania 2012 or locally called as Miss Lietuva 2012 pageant will take place on April 9 at the Svyturio Arena in Klaipeda.

The winner will represent the country in Miss World 2012 contest in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on August 18.

Maricely Gonzalez Pomares' face is already familiar to many, especially after her participation in Nuestra Belleza Latina 2010 were Osmel Sousa and Lupita Jones was one of the judges. Maricely then resided in the United States and after pageant, where she finished among the 20 finalists. Maricely returned to Panama to enter the Miss International Tourism Panama. To be a winner and travel to Malaysia, does highlight and rank among the 20 finalists in that contest. Today, Maricely Gonzalez continues his career in beauty pageants, entering the Miss Panama 2012.

The 2nd candidate to attend the signing of contract to participate in Miss Panama 2012 was Yinela Yero. She began his career in the world of beauty pageants with an outstanding performance in the Miss Teen Universe pageant, where she represented Panama country and ranked among the five finalists.

Having been elected Reina del Carnaval de la Ciudad Capital, Yinela highlighted both nationally and internationally as Tourism Ambassador of Panama.

Yinela Yohan Yero is also an actress and is remembered for her outstanding performance in the play "El Inspector General" by the Russian writer Nicholas Gogol.

In 2009, she was the winner of Miss International Panama Atlantic, acquiring the right to represent the country in the international version of the event in Montevideo, Uruguay. As a model, she has made several campaigns for major brands for both national and international designers since she was 16. But not only modeling and competitions, are the passion of Nabil, the Oratory is too. In 2006 participated in National Public Speaking Competition organized by Cable & Wireless and held the position of 2nd run-up in the regional competition.

Elissa Estrada Torrealba started started her career in the field of beauty pageants with an outstanding participation in the Miss Teen America 2007 in Panama where she placed as the 1st run-up. In 2009, the agency held a contest to choose the model to represent Panama in the Ford Super Model of the World in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The winner of the local version of the contest was nothing more and nothing less than Elissa, who after her participation in Brazil, opened the doors of international and local contracts in various modeling campaigns. Today, Estrada Elissa charts a new challenge in her career, competing in the Miss Panama 2012 pageant.

Karen Jordan Beitia entered the world of modeling at the age of 14, she has been demanded by photographers for major brands and modeled to magazine covers, apart from her recent cover story from TV and tele-novelas. Karen started her career in beauty contests with her participation in the Miss World Panama 2010 which she ranked among the finalists, an achievement that catapulted her to represent Panama in the International Queen of Coffee in Manizales, Colombia. In this international competition, Karen manages to stand out for their expertise in coffee planting. Later, Karen Jordan also competed in Avon Girl 2010 and Miss Model of the World 2011, obtaining the right to represent Panama at Fashion Week Ecuador and Miss Asia Pacific 2011 in Korea.

Milagros Guadalupe Ramos Castro, has a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Maritime Port and Multimedia Transport. She is currently in the last year of the Bachelor of Law and Political Science. She was the first winner of the National Public Speaking Competition in 2005. She also worked as a news anchor. She has had an outstanding participation in the Youth Assembly of Deputies where by popular vote held the positions of Deputy Circuit Youth 7-3, Vice President, Secretary General and Advisor to the Youth Assembly. She has also been Meritorious Speaker of the Fund in different districts of the Province of Los Santos. As part of its social, built the Hall of Dentistry and Nursing at the College Rafael Antonio Moreno, who provide services to all students, faculty and staff on campus. Also early involved in social projects such as: delivery of wheelchairs and beds for the disabled.

In 2007, Heidi Choy Barerra was crowned 2nd run-up representing Panama in Queen China which was held in Guatemala. Later, she joined Miss World University Panama and competed in South Korea to the international version of the event. Heidy, won the awards for Miss Talent and Miss Personality and the final gala event put the name of Panama up to occupy the position of Fourth Finalist. On her return, she was hired to work in the program chain MEDCOM, "Deal or no Deal" for one year.

Heidy Choy is a student of Management Banking, Finance and International Business at American University and plans to continue studies in Louisiana, United States. She loves to exercise and playing volleyball.
