The Miss America 2012 pageant will take place it's 91st edition on January 14 at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Chris Harrison and Brooke Burke will host the beauty contest which will be aired live by ABC and Xbox Live via Verizon FiOS' IPTV application.

The reigning Miss America 2011, Teresa Scanlan (photo above) will crown her successor at the end of the competition.
