Maria Teresa Roca, Miss World Bolivia was Dethroned

Crowned as Miss Bolivia World 2010 at the Miss Bolivia 2010 - 2011 beauty pageant was recently announced dethroned as Miss Bolivia by Ronald Limpias, executive president of Promociones Gloria.

Although Maria Teresa Roca was the official representative of Bolivia in Miss World 2010 competition and already competed and placed 4th run-up at Reina Internacional del Cafe 2011, the pageant veteran claimed that she should be sent to Miss Universe 2011 as well, once the original titleholder, Miss Bolivia Universe 2010, Olivia Pinheiro will no longer compete (Promociones Gloria decided that Miss Bolivia Universe 2011 is the one who will compete in Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12.

Ronald Limpias claims that Maria Teresa Roca has not fulfilled all her obligations as Miss World Bolivia, like for instance, not showing up in an important event such as the traditional Boulevard Carnaval, and causing controversies with the press.

Maria Teresa Roca, who is an attorney, sent a letter last week to the modeling agency stating that it was her right to represent Bolivia in Miss Universe because she had been 2nd to Olivia Pinheiro in the 2010 Miss Bolivia contest.

The beauty queen threatened to sue Promociones Gloria if she was not sent to Miss Universe, and now, she lost the title she had conquered: Miss World Bolivia.

Alvaro Peraza Artavia wins Manhunt Costa Rica 2011

23 year old Alvaro Peraza Artavia won the title of Manhunt Costa Rica 2011 pageant.

Standing tall at 1.88m, Alvaro Peraza Artavia was a finalist in Mr. Handsome International 2009 held in the Dominican Republic. He is now expected to compete in Manhunt International 2011 contest.

Mister South Africa 2011 is Adriaan Bergh

Mr. South Africa 2011 winner was Adriaan Bergh, Mister Pits. He will compete representing his country in the next edition of Mister World male pageant.

Miss World Costa Rica 2011 pageant will be held on February 20 in Tres Rios. Dayana Aguilera, Miss World Costa Rica 2010 will take her final walk and crown the new winner at the end of the contest.

The winner will represent Costa Rica at Miss World 2011 beauty pageant.

Runners-up will also compete at Miss International 2011, Miss Earth 2011 and Miss Intercontinental 2011 competitions.

Miss Finland 2011 or locally known as Miss Suomi 2011 will take place on March 5. Viivi Pumpanen, Miss Suomi 2010 (photo above) will crown her successor at the end of the event.

The winner will represent Finland at the Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12.

The 1st run-up will compete at Miss World 2011 contest. And the 2nd run-up will enter the Miss International 2011 competition.

Paola Chaverri wins Miss World Costa Rica 2011

19 year old Paola Chaverri was crowned Miss World Costa Rica 2011 in a beauty pageant held on February 20 in Tres Rios. She was crowned by Dayana Aguilera, Miss World Costa Rica 2010.

Paola Chaverri stands 5'7" tall and she will represent Costa Rica at Miss World 2011 contest.

Named as Miss International Costa Rica 2011 was Maria Fernanda Arias. She will enter the Miss International 2011 competition.

Mariela Aparicio was crowned Miss Earth Costa Rica 2011 and will represent the country at Miss Earth 2011 beauty contest.

Talia Umana won the Miss Intercontinental Costa Rica 2011 and will compete at Miss Intercontinental 2011 later this year.

Andrea Castro and Elena Correa were named as the 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively.
