The Miss Universe Croatia 2010 (Miss Universe Hrvatske 2010) beauty pageant will take place on March 27 at Hypo Center in Zagreb. The winner will be representing Croatia at the Miss Universe 2010 contest later this year. Sarah Cosic, Miss Universe Croatia 2009 will crown her successor at the final event.

Jonas Sulzbach wins Mister Brazil World 2010

Mr. Ilha dos Lobos, Jonas Sulzbach wins the Mister Brazil World 2010 / Mr. Brasil Mundo 2010 beauty pageant held at the Hotel Tivoli - Mofarrej in Sao Paulo on March 4. He was crowned by Mister Brazil World 2008, Vinicius Ribeiro. Jonas will now represent his country at the Mister World 2010 contest in Korea on March 27.

Mr. Brazil World 2010 / Mister Brasil Mundo 2010 1st run-up was Mister Ilha dos Marinheros, Marlon de Gregori while the 2nd run-up place went to Mister Parana, Rodrigo Gomes Simoni.

Scharllette Allen wins Miss Nicaragua 2010

A student of Tourism from Bluefields, Scharllette Allen was crowned the 10th Miss Nicaragua 2010 in a beauty pageant held at the Ruben Dario Theater in Managua on Feb. 27th. She was crowned by Miss Nicaragua 2009, Indiana Sanchez.

It is the first time in the history of Nicaragua that a black woman wins the coveted title. Allen was the major favorite during the weeks leading up to the final event.

Scharllette Allen was 18 years old and stands 1.80m tall. She will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2010 Contest in August.



Close to the title of Miss Nicaragua 2010 was the 1st run-up, Indira Rojas from Rivas. While the 2nd run-up was Claudia Trejos of Leon. Myriam Alejandra Cerda from Carazo and Bianca Martinez from Granada completed the top 5 finalists.

Miss Uruguay 2010 Winner is Stephany Ortega

Miss Rocha, Stephany Ortega won the title of Miss Uruguay Universe 2010 (Miss Uruguay Universo 2010) in a pageant held on February 27 at Salon Montecarlo del Conrad Punta del Este Resort & Casino in Punta del Este. She is 20 years old and stands 5'8" tall and was crowned by Miss Uruguay 2009, Cinthia Dottone. Stephany Ortega will compete representing her country at the Miss Universe 2010 contest

Crowned as Miss Uruguay World 2010 (Miss Uruguay Mundo 2010) is Miss Maldonado, Eliana Olivera. She is 22 years old and stands 1.75m tall. She will represent Uruguay at the Miss World 2010 Beauty Pageant.

Competing at the Miss International 2010 is one of the runners-up. 1st run-up was Evangelina Lechini, second runner-up is Natalie Yoffe and the third runner-up is Rocio Da Silva.

Alvin de Joya wins Mister World Philippines 2010

Alvin Aldeosa De Joya, a 23 year old hunk from Cauayan City, Isabela just won the title of Mister World Philippines 2010 held on February 27 at Master Showman GMA 7. Alvin is a part time model and he will represent the country at the Mr. World 2010 in Incheon, Korea.

As the pageant winner, Alvin De Joya won a trophy, a cash prize of P150,000, wardrobes worth P75,000.

1st run-up to the title of Mr. Philippines World 2010 is Jericho Intacto while the 2nd run-up was Jason Villegas. Completing the top 5 finalists were Mark Christian Daniel and Leonard Cosme.
