Miss Universe Slovak Republic 2010 (Slovakia / SR / Slovenskjej) beauty pageant will crown it's new winner on March 7 who will represent the country at the Miss Universe 2010 beauty contest. Denisa Mendrejova, Miss Slovakia 2009 will crown her successor during the event.

Swe Zin Phyo was crowned Miss Myanmar

Myanmar formerly known as Burma crowned it's first beauty queen after a long wait of 49 years, Swe Zin Phyo was named as Miss Myanmar 2010 on January 30 at Yangon, Myanmarx. It is not confirmed yet if Swe Zin Phyo will compete and represent the country in an international beauty pageant.

The last Miss Burma, was Myint Myint Khins, who competed in Miss Universe 1961.

Miss Fernando de Noronha & Mister Pernambuco 2010 Winners

Isabelle Sampaio won the title of Miss Fernando de Noronha 2010 beauty pageant where she beat 7 other finalists during the traditional Artists Ball of Recife.

The 22 yeard old Isabelle Sampaio stands 1.74m tall. She will compete in Miss World 2010 on August 8 at the Frade Hotel in Angra dos Reis and in Miss Tourism Queen International 2010 contest in China.

Close to the title is the 1st run-up Ericka Mello while the 2nd run-up was Wanessa Mattos.

At the same event, Alcir Lima won the title Mister Pernambuco 2010, and will compete in Mister Brazil 2010, on March 4, in Sao Paulo.

Miss America 2010 Preliminary Day 3 Winners

Day 3 preliminary talent winner of Miss America 2010 beauty pageant is Miss Michigan, Nicole Blaszczyk for her ballet performance of "Ballet en Pointe". She will receive $2,000 scholarship. And winner of the $1,000 scholarship is Miss Oregon, CC Barber who won the preliminary Lifestyle and Fitness wearing a black Winnwear swimsuit.

Miss Virginia, Caressa Cameron wins Miss America 2010

Caressa Cameron, Miss Virginia wins the title of Miss America 2010 beauty pageant held on January 30 at Theatre for the Performing Arts, Las Vegas, Nevada and televised live at TLC. Aside from the crown, she won $50,000 scholarship. She was crowned by Miss America 2009, Katie Stam.

Caressa Cameron is 22 year old from Fredericksburg. She is broadcast journalism student at Virginia Commonwealth University, and wants to become an anchor.

Close to the title was the 1st run-up Miss California, Kristy Cavinder. 2nd run-up place was Miss Tennessee, Stefanie Wittler. 3rd run-up is Miss Louisiana, Katherine Putnam. And lastly, Miss Kentucky, Mallory Ervin ended as the 4th run-up.

She was accompanied by Miss World Chairman, Julia Morley and they are welcomed by Eruza Sasaki, Miss Japan 2009 who represented Japan in Miss World 2009 and Hiroko Matsunaga, Miss Japan 2010 who will compete in Miss World 2010 to be held in Vietnam.

Kaiane's trip to Tokyo also includes her visit to Korea and next trip will be on Brunei.
