Miss Uruguay 2010 beauty pageant will be held on February 27 at Salon Montecarlo del Conrad Punta del Este Resort & Casino, Punta del Este, Uruguay and will telecast live on TV Ciudad. Cinthia D'ottone, Miss Uruguay 2009 will crown her during the event. The winners of the contest will represent Uruguay at Miss Universe, Miss World to be held in Vietnam and Miss International 2010 pageants.

Cilou Annys was crowned Miss Belgium 2010

18 year old model from Bruges, Cilou Annys was crowned Miss Belgium 2010 or locally known as Miss Belgie or Miss Belgique beauty pageant held on January 10. She was crowned by Miss Belgium 2009, Zeynep Sever

Cilou Annys stands 1.78m tall and she will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2010 and Miss World 2010 contest in Vietnam.

The 1st run-up was Lien Arnouts, and the 2nd runner-up was Binta Telemans. They will represent Belgium in Miss International, Miss Europe and Miss Tourism pageants this year.

Completing the top 5 finalists were Elke Van de Borre and Claudia Scheelen.

Rest of the top 10 semi-finalists were Sarah de Groof, Ewa Merk, Gohar Avertyan, Alicia Piana and Sophie Phanemans.

Sophie Panamonte was awarded the Miss Congeniality award.

Jennifer Hawkins on the cover of Marie Claire

Former Miss Universe 2004, Jennifer Hawkins is the latest cover girl of Marie Claire magazine.

The Australian beauty queen appears both naked and unretouched on the cover of Marie Claire’s February issue, on sale January 6, to encourage positive attitudes to body image and support the Butterfly Foundation.

In Marie Claire’s exclusive interview, Jennifer Hawkins confesses that she never could have done a shoot like this two years ago.

“I would have been worried about what people thought, whether it was the right decision – a thousand different things… But over the past year and a half I’ve grown into myself, and I’m more confident and comfortable within the modelling industry. I did it for the experience… It felt quite sensual and sexy. I felt empowered”.

While naturally slim, and with a body most of us would do just about anything for – Jen tells marie claire about the hard work that goes into her success, which includes keeping her body in great condition through regular exercise and a balanced diet. Jen speaks candidly about the highs and lows she has experienced in her rise to fame and her plans for the future, which includes moving in with her boyfriend Jake Wall in the year to come.

Miss Germany, Sarah Elzanowski was crowned Miss Tourism International 2009 in a beauty pageant held at Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel in Malaysia on December 31, 2009.

Sarah was crowned by Miss Tourism International 2008, Manasvi Mamgai from India.
