26 year old Katarina Rodrigues was crowned Miss World Philippines 2018 at the conclusion of a glittering annual pageant held last October 7 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Katarina from Davao City is currently working as a model. She stands 1.70m tall and is no stranger to beauty pageants. During the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 Pageant, she was crowned Miss Intercontinental Philippines and finished as runner-up at Miss Intercontinental 2017. She was also 2nd runner-up in Asia’s Next Top Model back in 2014.

Rodriguez will now be the official representative of the Philippines in the Miss World 2018 contest in Sanya, China on December.

Meanwhile, during the same event, former Miss USA 2015 semi-finalist, Maureen Montange was crowned Miss Eco Philippines 2018. She will compete in the next edition of the Miss Eco International competition.

The Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2018 title went to Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez, who belongs to a famous showbiz clan in the Philippines. She will enter and hopes to bring a back-to-back victory at the Reina Hispanoamericana 2018 contest later this year.

And finally, Kimilei Mugford from the Filipino Community of Canada was awarded the Miss Multinational Philippines 2018 title. She will compete in the next edition of Miss Multinational pageant.

The 1st Princess is Chanel Morales, while the 2nd Princess was Pearl Hung.

The 8th annual Miss World Philippines pageant was attended by the Miss World delegation, including the reigning Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar, Miss World 2016, Stephanie del Valle and Miss World CEO Mrs. Julia Morley.

Sharifa Akeel wins Mutya ng Pilipinas 2018

Representing Sultan Kudarat, Sharifa Areef Mohammad Omar Akeel was crowned as Mutya ng Pilipinas 2018 held on September 16 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Sharifa will represent the Philippines in the 2018 Miss Asia Pacific International pageant this coming October to be held in her home country.

Meanwhile, during the same event, Julieane "Aya" Fernandez of Taguig took home the Mutya ng Pilipinas Miss Tourism International 2018. She will vie for the title of Miss Tourism International 2018 in Malaysia this December, hoping for a back-to-back victory succeeded by Jannie Ali-poon, who won last year.

Kesha Ramachandran of Iloilo, meanwhile, was chosen as Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism Queen of the Year International 2018 and will go on to compete in the Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2018 in China later this year.

Bohol's pride, Pauline Amelinckx was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas Miss Global Queen 2018. She will be sent to the Miss Global Queen 2019 competition to be held next year.

Finished as 1st runner-up was Mary Justine Teng. While the 2nd runner-up place was given to Kristine Malicsi.

50 gorgeous candidates competed for the title of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2018, which celebrates it's 50th anniversary this year.

Ana de Backer of Brazil wins Mrs Tourism Queen International 2018

Mrs. Brazil, Ana de Backer won the first Mrs Tourism Queen International title. She competed in Malaysia with representatives of 30 countries and 5 continents, all married women. Earlier this year, Brazil also won the title Miss Tourism Queen International, with Camilla Reis.

Second place went to Mexico, with South Africa placing 3rd, Malaysia 4th and Mongolia 5th. Myanmar was chosen as "Mrs Global Tourism", Netherlands won the Photogenic award, New Zealand was Mrs Elegance and Brazil, the eventual winner, also got the Mrs Fitness award.

Ana was the original winner of Miss Brazil World 2015. At that time, she was married in Belgium, where her husband is from, but not in Brazil. Being single in her native country meant that she was accepted by MWO, however, her marriage was in the process of Homologation in Brazil, which would happen in a few months. She then had to choose one or the other, and she decided not to stop the Homologation process. Catharina Choi Nunes, her 1st runner-up, was then crowned Miss Brazil World 2015.

Miss World Japan 2018 is Kanako Date

21 year old Kanako Date was crowned Miss World Japan 2018 last August 28 where 30 candidates participated.

Kanako is currently a senior at the Keiko University. She stands 1.7m tall and will represent Japan at the Miss World 2018 Final on December 8 in Sanya, China.

Aldy Bernard wins Miss Republica Dominicana Universo 2018

Senorita Laguna Salada, 22 year old Aldy Bernard was crowned Miss Republica Dominicana Universo (Dominican Republic Universe) 2018 last August 26 at the Gran Arena del Cibao in Santiago de los Caballeros.

Aldy defeated 19 other delegates to win the title. She stands 1.8m tall and will travel to Thailand in December to represent the Dominican Republic at the Miss Universe 2018 beauty pageant.

Meanwhile, Tania Martinez representing Monte Cristi was crowned Miss Continentes Unidos Dominicana 2018 during the same event. And Roxannie Rodríguez representing Peravia received the title of Miss Hispanoamérica Dominicana 2018.

25 year old Baek Ji Hyun was crowned Miss Universe Korea 2018 during the Miss Queen Korea 2018 pageant held last August 22.

Baek Ji Hyun stands 1.76m tall and will represent Korea at the 2018 Miss Universe Competition to be held on December 17th in Bangkok, Thailand.

26 year old Eun Bi Lee was crowned Miss Supranational Korea 2018. She stands 1.72m tall and will try to secure a back-to-back title for her country at the 10th edition of Miss Supranational in Poland on December 7th.

Joh Ah, 25, took home the title of Miss World Korea 2018. She stands 1.74m tall and will represent her country at the 68th Miss World final on December 8th in Sanya, China.

19 year old Emily Maddison was crowned Miss Universe Jamaica 2018 held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.

Emily stands 1.74m tall and will represent Jamaica at the 2018 Miss Universe Competition in Bangkok, Thailand.

Kadejah Anderson was crowned Miss Grand Jamaica 2018. She is 22 years old and stands 1.74m tall.

Kayla Smith took home the title of Miss Intercontinental Jamaica 2018.

Standing 1.74m tall, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau will represent her country at the 11th edition of Miss Supranational in 2019 next year. The 1st runner-up was Truong My Nhan, while the 2nd runner-up went to Hoang Vu Hien.
