Eva van Putten of Curacao wins Hispanic American Queen 2011

Miss Curacao, Evalina Van Putten won the title of Reina Hispano Americana 2011 or internationally known as Hispanic American Queen 2011 pageant which was held last October 27 at Fexpocruz Santa Cruz, Bolivia. She was crowned by Reina Hispanoamericana 2010, Caroline Medina.

Standing 1.84m tall, 20 year old Eva van Putten also competed in Miss Universe 2011.

Declared as "Virreina" was Miss Chile, Maria Jesus Matthei.

1st run-up was Miss Bolivia, Yessica Mouton. 2nd run-up was Miss Ecuador, Olga Alava. Placed as the 3rd run-up was Miss Paraguay, Alba Riquelme. While 4th run-up position was given to Miss Spain, Spain, Alba Fortes. And finally, the 5th run-up was Miss Venezuela, Angela Ruiz.

Du Fu Thatched Cottage Village Visit - Miss International 2011

The contestants of Miss International 2011 pageant visited the Du Fu Thatched Cottage Village last October 26.

The Du Fu Thatched Cottage Village is a idyllic 24-acre park and museum in honour of the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu. It is located in the western outskirts of Chengdu, and in 1961 the Chinese government established Du Fu Cao Tang as a National Heritage site.

The original thatched hut built by Du Fu was destroyed. The key buildings in the Du Fu Cao Tang Park were constructed in the early 16th century during the Ming dynasty and extensively renovated in 1811 during the Qing dynasty.

Miss International 2011 Beauties attended Chengdu TV Anniversary Dinner

Miss International 2011 Candidates were invited to take part in the festivities of Chengdu TV’s anniversary, where they paraded in their national costumes. Then, they were taken to attend a special dinner with local personalities and celebrities.
