Winners of Manila's Five Prettiest 2011

The Manila's 5 Prettiest 2011 gay beauty pageant was held on July 30 at the Pope Pius Auditorium in UN Avenue.

Lucky five winners was chosen, and they are: Matrica Mae Centino of Samar/Leyte, Channa Mendis of Ilo-ilo, Rain Marie Madrigal from Cebu City, Trixie Maristela and Michelle Binas both from Manila. They were crowned by two former winners from 1995, Barbie Anderson and Kate Montecarlo.

The pageant was hosted by Nino Mas, Brand Manager of Everbilena Cosmetics and Emmerie Dale Cunanan, Miss Philippines Water 2010 / 2nd run-up, Miss Philippines Earth 2010. Also co-anchoring the event is Nikki Normanson, Binibining Gay Pilipinas 2010.

The Manila's Five Prettiest is the most prestigious gay beauty contest in the Philippines. It was founded in the early 90's by the late Jun Encarnacion.

Contestants of Miss Universo Honduras 2011

Miss Universo Honduras 2011 or internationally known as Miss Universe Honduras 2011 will be held on July 29 at the Centro Social Hondureno Arabe in San Pedro Sula. The outgoing Miss Universe Honduras 2010, Kenia Martinez (photo above) will crown her successor at the end of the competition.

New winner will represent Honduras in Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

22 year old Keilyn Suzette Gomez was named as the new Miss Universe Honduras 2011 or locally known as Miss Universo Honduras 2011 in a beauty contest held on July 29 at the Centro Social Hondureño Arabe in San Pedro Sula. She was crowned by Miss Universe Honduras 2010, Kenia Martinez.

Standing 1.70m tall, Keilyn Suzette Gomez will represent Honduras in Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Larisa Popa was crowned Miss Universe Romania 2011

24 year old Larisa Popa was crowned as the new Miss Universe Romania 2011 during a beauty contest held on July 29 at the Residence Domenii Plaza Hotel in Bucharest. She was crowned by Oana Paveluc, Miss Universe Romania 2010.

Alexandra Camelia Hadade was the 1st run-up, Beatrix-Julia Hack was the 2nd run-up and Emanuela-Elena Radu was the 3rd run-up.

Larisa Popa will represent Romania in Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

22 year old Anusha Rajaseharan was chosen to represent Singapore in Miss Supranational 2011 beauty pageant on August 27 in Plock, Poland.

Anusha Rajaseharan is a student of biomedical sciences. She was the former Miss Singapore World 2010 and also competed in Miss World 2010 contest.

Jessica Schialer crowned Miss Supranational Peru 2011

21 year old Jessica Schialer was crowned as the new Miss Supranational Peru 2011.

Jessica Schialer stands 177cm tall and will represent Peru in Miss Supranational 2011 beauty pageant on August 27 in Poland.

During the event, Sophia Venero, 1st run-up of Miss Lebanon Emigrant 2011 and Claudia Carrasco, Miss Exclusive of the World 2011 were also presented.

Sofinel Baez to represent Dominican Republic in Miss Supranational 2011

21 year old Sofinel Baez Santos was selected to represent Dominican Republic in Miss Supranational 2011 beauty pageant in Plock, Poland on August 27.

Sofinel Baez is a International Relations student. She competed in Miss International 2010. She's also the reigning Reina Internacional del Cafe 2011 / Miss International Queen of Coffee 2011.

Yael Markovich will represent Israel in Miss Supranational 2011

21 year old Yael Markovich was appointed to represent Israel in Miss Supranational 2011 beauty pageant on August 27 in Poland.

Yael Markovich is a studies business and also works as a model. She was born in Haifa and is of Polish, Turkish and Syrian descent.

Anedie Lucrece Azael wins Miss Haiti Universe 2011

22 year old Anedie Lucrece Azael from Lauderhill, Florida was crowned as the new Miss Haiti Universe 2011 during a beauty contest held on July 27 at the Karibe Hotel in Port-au-Prince. She was crowned by Miss Haiti 2010, Sarodj Bertin.

Anedie Lucrece Azael stands 1.77m tall and will represent Haiti in Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Lourence Remetillo crowned Miss Supranational Philippines 2011

23 year old Lourence Remetillo from Lanao del Norte was crowned as the very 1st Miss Supranational Philippines 2011 during a beauty pageant held on July 24 at the Midas Hotel. It was hosted by Nino Mas, Brand Manager of Everbilena Cosmetics, Emmerie Dale Cunanan, Miss Philippines Water 2010 / 2nd run-up, Miss Philippines Earth 2010 and Mark Salecina.

1st run-up was Gladys Comandao of Davao City. Also from Davao was the 2nd run-up, Jamaica Omega Mendoza was.

Lourence Remetillo wants to be a Philanthropist someday and dreams of traveling the world. She has Degree in Desktop Publishing from Iligan College. She will represent the Philippines in Miss Supranational contest to be held in Poland on August 26.

Zuleyka Rivera is Pregnant with JJ Barea

Former Miss Universe 2006, actress and model, Zuleyka Rivera Mendoza confirmed that she's having a baby with Puerto Rican basketball player Jose Juan "JJ" Barea of the NBA champion Dallas Mavericks.

"All this took me by surprise, but I feel very lucky. I come from a very close family and I understand that a baby is a blessing," said Zuleyka.

Rivera, who had begun taping segments of the soap opera "Corazon Apasionado," has been forced to put her professional career on hold while she completes her pregnancy.

"I'm sorry to have had to leave this soap opera, since it was another opportunity for my growth as an actress and reaching my professional goals," Mendoza said.

"Both Jose Juan and I are happy to start a family together and I know that God will present us with a healthy baby and many more opportunities for both of us," she said.

Zuleyka Rivera thanked everyone for the love they have shown her and announced that, for the moment, she has no wedding plans.

LaKendis Brown is Miss International Bahamas 2011

LaKendis Brown was recently crowned as the new Miss International Bahamas 2011 during a beauty pageant held in Nassau.

Competed before in Miss Progress International 2010 and 2nd run-up in Miss Bahamas Earth 2010, LaKendis Brown will represent Bahamas in Miss International 2011 beauty contest to be held on October 23 in Chengdu, China.

Clayton Li wins Mister Hong Kong 2011

24 year old Clayton Li was declared as the new Mister Hong Kong 2011 during a male beauty pageant held on July 16.

Clayton Li stands 178cm tall and speaks English and Cantonese. He will represent Hong Kong China in the next edition of Mister World Contest.

Larona Motlatsi Kgabo from Gaborone was crowned as the new Miss Universe Botswana 2011 during a beauty contest held on July 23 at the Gaborone International Convention Centre in Bonnington Farm, Molepolole Road, Gaborone, Southern Botswana. She was crowned byTirelo Ramasedi, Miss Universe Botswana 2010.

Jacqueline Sesa was the 1st run-up, while Maugo Gwazai was the 2nd run-up.

Priscilla Machado wins Miss Brazil Universe 2011

25 year old Miss Rio Grande do Sul, Priscilla Machado from Farroupilha was crowned Miss Brazil Universe 2011 during a contest held on July 23 at the HSBC Brasil in Sao Paulo and broadcasted by Rede Bandeirantes. She was crowned by the outgoing Miss Brazil Universe 2010, Debora Lyra.

Priscilla Machado stands 5'11" tall will represent Brazil and serves as the host delegate in Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The 1st run-up was Miss Bahia, Vanessa Gabriella Rocha. She will compete in Miss International 2011 beauty contest to be held on October 23 in Chengdu, China.

2nd run-up was Miss Acra, Danielle Knidel. She will enter Miss Continente Americano 2011 pageant on October 2 at the Palacio de Cristal, Guayaquil, Ecuador.

The 3rd run-up was Miss Sao Paulo, Rafaela Butareli. And the 4th run-up was Miss Amazonas, Tammy Cavalcante.
