Oxana Fedorova known for her success in quite a fews fields: Oxana was police officer, television host, actress, singer and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

Fedorova was crowned Miss Universe 2002 at a beauty pageant held in San Juan, Puerto Rico. However, she was dethroned afterward. Officially, she was dethroned for failing to perform the numerous duties expected of a Miss Universe titleholder. However, as she was later rumored to be pregnant. Fedorova denied the pregnancy rumors and stated that she voluntarily gave up her crown for personal reasons, mainly because she wanted to finish her law degree.

Oxana won both the swimsuit and evening gown competitions. Her score of 9.88 in the swimsuit competition was the highest televised score for that event in the history of the pageant.

On December 27, 2002, Oxana Fedorova successfully defended her doctoral thesis. She officially obtained a Ph.D. in Civil Law from the Saint Petersburg University of the Ministry of Interior of Russia (MVD University) on May 16, 2003

At the time she stated in an interview that she had declined to perform her duties because she was so insulted by her treatment on The Howard Stern Show. She blamed the pageant organizers for not warning her of the frequently profane Stern commentary, of which she, as a foreigner, had no prior knowledge.

22 year old Nicole Flint is from Pretoria and a personal assistant to Jacaranda FM's Darren Scott. She was entering the pageant for the first time. She is hoping to study towards a diploma in journalism and further her career in the media industry. She was crowned Miss South Africa 2009 on December 13 at the Sun City Superbowl.

Wang Lu is crowned Miss Tourism International China 2010

Wang Lu from Xinjiang was just crowned Miss Tourism International China 2010. She beat other 34 girls vying the title.

Wang Lu showed off her noble temperament, magnanimous spirit and dazzling evening wear looks over the last few days in Hangzhou.

The judging took two weeks and involved not only parading around in swimwear and evening wear, but also participating in a three-part reality competition and a scenic country tour.

The second and third places were Jiangsu athlete Anji and Henan deaf beauty Zhu Lijuan.

Wang Lu will be representing China at the Miss Tourism International 2010 beauty pageant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia later this year. Even if she doesn't win the main crown, she could get a chance to be "Miss Eyewear Beauty 2010" or "Miss Overtime Fresh Face 2010."
