22 year old Ana Sofia Garcia Gallego from Mexicali was crowned Miss Supranational Mexico 2010. She will represent Mexico at the second edition of Miss Supranational 2010 to be held in Poland next August.

The 1.78m tall beauty currently studies Business Administration. Ana Sofia Garcia Gallego was chosen by the Miss Mexico Travel organization, the exclusive Mexican license holder for Miss Tourism Queen and Miss Supranational in Mexico.

Silvana Monier Vasquez is Miss Peru Earth 2010

18 year old Silvana Monier Vasquez from Ayacucho was named as the new Miss Peru Earth 2010 in a beauty pageant held at the Salon de los Espejos in Lima.

Silvana Monier Vasquez stands 5'9.5" tall and she will be representing Peru at the Miss Earth 2010 beauty pageant to be held in Vietnam.

Miss Mexico wins Miss International 2009 Crown

Chengdu, China will host the Miss International 2010

Previously announced to be held inside the grounds of the Shanghai 2010 Expo in China, the Miss International organization announced that the 2010 event will return to Chengdu, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this beauty contest.

The Miss International Beauty contest was created in Long Beach, California, USA in 1960 after the departure of the Miss Universe pageant to Miami Beach. Hosted in Long Beach until 1967, the pageant moved to Japan from 1968–1970, being hosted each year in the same city as the Expo ‘70. For 1971 and 1972, it was held in Long Beach again; it was celebrated then in Japan from 1973 to 2008.

In 2004, Chinese officials showed interest in bringing the event to China. In 2004 and 2006, it was held simultaneously in both Japan and China; in 2008 the contest was held in Japan and Macau. 2009 was the first year, since 1972, that the contest was held completely outside of Japan.

Miss International 2010 is expected to take place on October 30th.

Miss Guatemala 2010 Winners

Miss Zacapa, Alejandra Barillas was crowned as Miss Guatemala Universe 2010 in a beauty pageant held on April 17. She was crowned by the reigning Miss Guatemala 2009, Lourdes Figueroa Araujo. Alejandra Barillas will compete at the Miss Universe 2010 contest.

Crowned as Miss Guatemala World 2010 is Miss Sacatepequez, Lucia Mazariegos. She will compete at the Miss World 2010 pageant.

Representing Guatemala at the Miss International 2010 beauty pageant in Chengdu, China is Jessica Scheel, Miss Retalhuleu. She was named as the new Miss Guatemala International 2010.

Karen Remon, Miss Santa Rosa and Claudia Garcia, Miss Chimaltenango were the 1st and 2nd runners-up repectively.

Yeidy Bosques | Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2010 Winner

22 year old Yeidy Bosques from Mayaguez was crowned Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2010 in a beauty pageant held at the Puerto Rico Art Museum in San Juan on April 22.

Yeidy Bosques will compete representing Puerto Rico at the Miss Earth 2010 beauty pageant to be held in Vietnam.
